The "TYPE 9610A/8010B" is a switching device that allows for the cancellation of thermoelectric voltage generated during precise DC voltage measurements, such as with Zener DC voltage standards and high-precision digital multimeters, by reversing the polarity of the voltage during measurement. It can be directly connected to binding posts (19mm pitch).
